One of the great innovators in twentieth century art is the Dane Asger Jorn. In the autumn of 2002 ARKEN presents both well-known and rarer sides to Jorn's comprehensive scope of activities. The exhibition sheds new light on the artist by focusing on the playful but also committed Jorn who constantly challenged the boundaries of art.
The exhibition will comprise around 150 works executed in the many different media that Jorn mastered - painting, sculpture, graphic prints, ceramics, drawing, collage and literary productions.
