club flyers, supermarket reduced stickers, sale tickets and sticky dots.
"reinvent" transports and transforms universally considered monotonous materials into something seductive and beautiful
through the works careful obsessive productive and addictive visualisation. By subverting universal codes, Lee allows
depersonal become personal, the works careful attention referencing the psychological - reinventing the artist and his materials
throughprocesses of metamorphosis.
Lee recently showed at Phoenix Gallery, Brighton, and has previously shown at venues including
OXO Tower Wharf (Beautiful 2000) Oriel Mostyn Gallery, Wales (Mostyn 11), Windsor Arts Centre (Temperamental 2001) and curated "Beautiful Projects" at Ashley Gardens in May 2002
Forthcoming shows include a group show in Covent Garden entitled "Splendid" in November 2002
