Exhibition #3. Sir Peter Blake has curated a show of outsider art and artefacts from his own collection
The collaborator of this year is Sir Peter Blake, the godfather of British pop art and a collector par excellence, whose accumulations of self-taught art, found objects and anonymous artefacts inform and inspire his own oeuvre. Exhibition #3 reveals his discoveries for the very first time, as the museum's Primrose Hill space becomes a canvas for the largest and most ambitious art installation ever created by the legendary septuagenarian. This year, Peter Blake has curated a show of outsider art and artefacts from his own collection, which includes Victorian taxidermy, Elvis-themed curios and Shirley Temple dolls. There will also be talks from Hans Ulrich Obrist, Jeremy Deller, Walter Potter, Errol Fuller and Polly Morgan.
