Earth. The project is presented as an exhibition as well as two live sound performances with Oren Ambarchi
In his exhibition, Singaporean artist and filmmaker has created a mixed media experimental science fiction piece. Ho Tzu Nyen artworks translate and compress biographies, philosophical ideas and scientific anecdotes into highly staged and choreographed 'text-less' images and sounds that seek to communicate at the level of the nervous system. Using paintings, photographs and video to tell his stories, Ho's show comprises three major 'videographic' remixes centred on his 42-minute film, "Earth". The show is curated by Blair French and presented in association with Sydney Festival 2011. The project is presented as an exhibition as well as two live sound performances with Melbourne-based composer, guitarist and percussionist Oren Ambarchi on January 24 & 25 at 7:30pm.
