An edition of 20 uniques made by the Swiss artist Roman Signer (born 1938 in Appenzell) on the occasion of Gotthard-Base Tunnel-Cutting, Sedrun, 2010. Roman Signer's latest action Salut has been created on the occasion of the puncture of the Gotthard-Base Tunnel in Sedrun on Oktober 15, 2010. Notabilities of politics and media and the persons responsible for planning and realisation came together to celebrate the genesis of the longest train tunnel in the world and thus the success of a mammoth project. In line with these ceremonies, Roman Signer created this homage to the miners who made this world record possible in the first place.
