Temoin Hybride. Eko Nugroho (born in 1977 in Indonesia where he lives and works) creates paintings murals, videos, fanzines, comic books and collages with sophisticated, humorous and surreal imagery deeply entrenched in the Indonesian counter-culture. The artist performs most of his works in public spaces, often in the form of collective frescoes painted on buildings in escheat.
