Uno è il punto di partenza per la nuova programmazione di Interno 4 che si svilupperà, nella prossima stagione, in un susseguirsi di progetti numerati, step-tentativi che si dimostrino capaci di coniugare più artisti nella medesima dimensione. Gli ospiti invitati sono chiamati a confrontarsi e incontrarsi al fine di stabilire un rapporto che porti alla costruzione dell’evento finale, in ogni sua parte.
Uno è il risultato della collaborazione di Riccardo Baruzzi, Giulia Filippi, Gabriele Garavaglia e Delphine Chapuis Schmitz, cominciato attraverso un fitto scambio di mail dove si sono affrontate le questioni e problematiche riguardanti la condivisione dello spazio e della pubblicazione. Il loro incontro avrà effettivamente luogo solo durante i giorni dell’allestimento, quando i quattro artisti arriveranno a concretizzare i progetti discussi nelle settimane precedenti.

Uno (One) marks the start of the new season of Interno 4. The new program consists of a succession of numbered projects, linked incrementally like a sequence of steps, each of which will be characterized by the idea of bringing together different artists in the same space. The presenting artists are invited to contact each other and meet, with the intention of establishing a rapport that will filter into various aspects of the eventual exhibition.
Uno (One) is the result of the collaboration between Riccardo Baruzzi, Giulia Filippi, Gabriele Garavaglia, and Delphine Chapuis Schmitz. The exhibition began as an intensive exchange of emails between the artists, discussing the issues and problems related to the sharing of space and publication. The artists, however, will meet for the first time only days before the opening in order to materialize the ideas they have been developing, from afar, over these past weeks.
