DoubleVision Gallery is very pleased to announce the first solo exhibition by longtime L.A. resident and artist Sally Hurt, opening September 6th and continuing through October 4th.
Hurt began her art career late in life and obtained her MFA at the Claremont Graduate University in the 1980s. All the works in this exhibition were executed in the last two years, with three different themes: square, drip and teardrop. Hurt prefers to use acrylic on untreated linen, square in shape, with vibrant and sophisticated colors that she finds in old magazines.
