Artist Stephanie Douet explores historical and contemporary optical trickery, making real images of 'non-real' landscapes with real objects. During her residency at Modern Art Oxford she will make a series of visual experiments that negotiate the real world through photography, using simple means such as mirrors, lenses, shadows and lights to produce complex, illusionary landscapes. Come and hear Stephanie Douet 'in conversation' with Professor Martin Kemp on 1 August. Open studio days: 23, 24, 27 July 12-4pm. Exhibition:1 - 4 August.
