This exhibition aims to tickle the connection between the visual and mental perceptions of art. The artists focus on the visual impact of imagining -- how far can our imagination take us with what we see? Could differences be merged and thus, unity formed within diversity?
A Visual Art Exhibition
Singapore, 28th November 2003 - Conceptualised by the theme of 'focusing', ALPHABET SOUP showcases multi-disciplinary works by promising young artists and established names such as Jacquelina Heng, and Twardzik Ching Chor Leng.
This exhibition aims to tickle the connection between the visual and mental perceptions of art. The artists focus on the visual impact of imagining -- how far can our imagination take us with what we see? Could differences be merged and thus, unity formed within diversity? As the title suggests, ALPHABET SOUP consists an array of artists who deal with different art forms and materials, exploring new and interesting ideas without compromising the notion of merriment.
