Darat al Funun - The Khalid Shoman Foundation, Amman

An exhibition for young documentary photographers from North Africa and the Middle East. It includes works by photographers from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates. These photographic works explore pictorial landscapes of cities and nature, and paint portraits of human beings. They all share a common feature, which is the interest in the nature and realism of the world around us and its inhabitants. This show is being held in several cities around the Arab world throughout 2014. In collaboration with the Goethe Institute. Opening Tuesday 21 October at 6:00 PM, followed by curator talk - Dr. Constanze Wicke at 6:30 PM.
