Sixth edition. The fair will return in the heart of the Chelsea gallery district. This year's edition will feature over 50 international galleries and non profit institutions representing 14 countries with a special architectural design.
Independent is pleased to announce the exhibitor list for its sixth edition, scheduled
March 5 – 8, 2015.
Independent will return to its original location at 548 West 22nd Street between
10th and 11th Avenues, in the heart of the Chelsea gallery district.
This year’s edition will feature over 50 international galleries and non-profit institutions
representing fourteen countries.
The architectural design of the exhibition spaces, which will reflect the spatial and
curatorial concerns of the galleries and institutions, will be designed in collaboration with
Jonathan Caplan, Project-Space.
A limited-edition publication will be published on the occasion of the 2015 edition with our
media partner, Mousse.
Independent was conceived by Elizabeth Dee and Darren Flook and developed in conjunction
with Creative Advisor Matthew Higgs and Director Laura Mitterrand.
