Julio Le Parc: Variations autour de La Longue Marche. The 4th edition of the project

For the 4th edition of the Hermes Editeur project, Hermes invited Julio Le Parc, a major proponent of kinetic and optical art, to appropriate its emblematic silk scarf. A veritable hymn to colour, Julio Le Parc's proposition, Variations autour de La Longue Marche, constitutes a series of variations around his original work, La Longue Marche (1974-1975), using the fourteen colours of the chromatic prism or playing with "non-colours" (white, black, grey). It resulted in an edition of ten series of six silk scarves, each one unique, revealed for the first time and on sale. June 15, 6pm preview, by invitation only.
