Blue Sky
'Blue sky' is a compulsive 5 month biro scribble adventure.
It reads as a massive mood map where thoughts are volatile and emotions
ever changing. This carpet of forms is reminiscent of day dreamy
afternoons spent looking at clouds change shape and guessing what they
might resemble.
Occasionally friends would pop by at studio and participate in the
scribbling. This has deeply influenced the outcome of the project as
every new person joining in would establish a new style.
During this journey we have been lost in ornamental conversations where
patterns have spontaneously unfolded.
The scribbling has occurred on small sections of the lining paper
without
ever seeing the whole, closer in spirit to a diary or Chinese scroll
painting.
During the installation the work will be seen in its entirety for the
first time.
