The show brings together a selection of Russian and Eastern European contemporary art, many of which, were forbidden or kept hidden under Communist ideals. Many of these artists who worked outside of the official system struggled to maintain their artistic and intellectual freedom.

Lev Moross Gallery brings together an important selection of Russian and
Eastern European contemporary art, many of which, were forbidden or kept
hidden under Communist ideals. Many of these artists who worked outside of
the official system struggled to maintain their artistic and intellectual
freedom. The selection of works represented by Lev Moross Gallery offers an
extraordinary range of artists, styles and movements, giving the public a
rare glimpse of a rich and poignant past and present times of Eastern
Europe.
Lev Moross Gallery is dedicated to attracting the finest artists,
internationally and locally, to our gallery. Los Angeles is an important
city in the art world and we maintain the highest standard of excellence in
representing great art. This show promises to deliver one of the most
diverse collections of Eastern European art to Southern California.
