Two exhibitions

New Museum Chelsea, New York

Brian Jungen. The artist explores the current tensions between indigenous and global cultures by transforming ordinary consumer goods into emblematic sculptures. The exhibition marks the first comprehensive survey of his work from the past ten years. Seventh Annual Altoids Curiously Strong Collection. The Collection was created in 1998 to honor and support today's emerging visual artists by providing public exposure and recognition. The 22 works chosen for the show will be on view at the New Museum after a nationwide tour.
