Drawings. The museum has a collection of 36 drawings made by Rembrandt himself. In addition, there are 160 drawings by pupils and artists from his environment, showing the artistic influence of the great master from the Golden Age. Most of the drawings are from the world-famous Koenigs Collection. The exhibition, curtain raiser for the Rembrandt year 2006 in the museum, is offering a rare opportunity to admire not only the complete collection of drawings by Rembrandt in Rotterdam, but also a wide selection of drawings by his contemporaries.
