Through a selection of works from the MNCARS permanent collection, an attempt is made to explore the complexity of the relationship between the spectator and the work of art, the concerns and practices defining recent art and how these contribute to outlining a broader discourse on the reception of the work of art and the way it is seen. At the same time, present multidisciplinary trends are shown as well as the commitment of the Museum collection to current international art.
