Projection of his latest movie. Presented as an installation, this projected video works as a trailer for a solo exhibition the artist is currently preparing for next year at the SI. Olaf Breuning's arrangements draw their suggestive power from images known from advertising and the entertainment industry, their spectrum ranging from cultivated hedonism to a lustful thrill of the sinister. By way of exposing its own artificiality, Olaf Breuning's work manages to transfer the clichés of our recreational pleasures into a transparent -and dramatic- world.
