Asia's most exciting contemporary art fair take place in the heart of Beijing in autumn. Along with the development of the Chinese economy, the contemporary art market is expanding rapidly in China. The fair will include over 100 art galleries from China, Asia, the USA, Europe and Latin America, offering a window on to the local contemporary art market and recent developments in the art scene.
Sure to be Asia's most exciting contemporary art fair, Art Beijing 2006 will take place in the heart of Beijing in autumn October, 6 - 10, 2006, with a Preview Evening for invited guests on October 5th. Along with the development of the Chinese economy, the contemporary art market is expanding rapidly in China. Art Beijing 2006 aims to promote the local Chinese art market and establish itself as the most important contemporary art fair in Asia with world-wide influence and recognition.
Art Beijing 2006 will include over 100 art galleries from China, Asia, the USA, Europe and Latin America, offering a window on to the local contemporary art market and recent developments in the art scene.
In addition to these galleries, Art Beijing 2006 will also include a VIP Program, a Video Salon, a seminar Forum with international speakers, and other programs of interest.

Acclaimed Chinese artist, Wu Zuoren, (1908-1997) one of China’s 20th painting masters, personally founded the Wu Zuoren International Fine Arts Foundation in 1989.
The Wu Zuoren International Fine Arts Foundation was the first non-governmental, privately-funded organization, approved and established by China’s national cultural authorities. The Foundation aims to support Chinese artists both domestically and internationally by promoting artistic exchange and research. Since its establishment in 1989, the Foundation has awarded many prizes and various forms of support to young artists, researchers and art academics.
