Ist Das Fischli Weiss?

In this joint venture, curated by Urs Kuenzi, Erb and Rutishauser assume informal authorship of a series of photographs they have 'directed' the participating Switzerland-based artists to make in response to two films created by the duo Fischli & Weiss. As the boundaries between collective memory and appropriation blur with the traditional roles of the project space and the practitioners forming a partial eclipse, we are left asking; 'just who is influencing whom?'
