Win a trip to Roma
Win a trip to Amsterdam
It’s a work of Art. It’s a cultural
exchange. It’s an exhibition. It’s a contest.
Give Cal State Fullerton Grand
Central Artist in Residence Franco Angeloni a few good reasons why you should be
selected, and you may win a trip to Italy or the Netherlands.
From May 5th
through 11th, 2001, you can take a chance at winning a trip.
The contest will
be divided into 4 categories:
Single Women . Single Men . Married Couple .
Unmarried Couple
Here are the rules:
With your entry into the contest you
agree to the rules listed below.
1) All contestants must be 21 years of age
minimum.
2) Each contest participant will be photographed when entering.
Photographs will be used for publicity and documentation.
3) Angeloni will
select 5 candidates from each category. A total of 20 finalists will be selected
at random.
4) Angeloni will visit the homes of all 20 finalists and interview
each finalist between May 14 and May 25, 2001.
5) All candidates agree to be
have their home and potential trip photographically documented. All photos will
become the property of the Franco Angeloni, and he will use this documentation
for purposes of publicity, exhibition, and the production of a CD-ROM
documenting the project.
6) A minimum of one trip will be awarded. During the
exhibition Angeloni will attempt to solicit patrons to underwrite more trip
awards. Winners will be announced at the Artists Village First Saturday Open
House on Saturday June 2, 2001.
By registering to win, candidates agree to
have Angeloni visit their home. Angeloni will visit all the finalists in their
own home environment and they/he/she will try their best to express their wish
to win a European trip and motivate Angeloni to select them. The artist will ask
candidates questions about the city of Rome and the present and past allure of
the city: among other things, the famous monument the Coliseum will be a center
of discussion. As for Amsterdam, the Windmills and the liberal-tolerant and
highly developed civic sense of the Dutch culture will be a primary point of
discussion.
It is understood that the best and most convincing stories by the
candidates, which the artist will have visited in 2-weeks time, will be the
primary criteria for Angeloni’s selection of winners. In order to make the
selecting process less complex, the artist will be the supreme Judge.
