Plataforma 06

Plataforma 06 uses a nodal structure in order to articulate a series of exhibitions, concerts and projects in Puebla’s historic center and at the newly restored textile factory and complex, La Constancia Mexicana, venue of the specially commissioned new media art projects.

Paltaforma 06 involves more than 150 artists, including new works by Santiago Sierra, Torolab, Tercerunquinto, Teresa Margolles, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Tania Candiani, Ximena Cuevas, Arcangel Constantini, Ilian Gonzalez, Ivan Puig, Manuel Rocha, Mariana Rondan, Enrique Rosas, Alfredo Salomon, Carlos Arias and Luciano Matus.

Guest curators include Arlindo Machado (Brasil), Juan Pablo Macias (Mexico), Ramon Mateos (Spain), Ricardo Dal Farra (Argentina), Ivan Edeza (Mexico) and Lydia Camacho (Mexico). Architect Mauricio Rocha has created a set of information modules, including a free-standing structure in the main square and a mobile unit that docks at different sites in the city.
