A new installation/work created for the reopening of Spazio Espositivo Contemporaneo based on the use of four full sheets of plasterboard to construct a form that takes it shape from the format of the materials themselves.

Black / Box / Whole continues Sal’s exploration of three dimensional formats and is a direct result of his experience in creating his one person exhibition at Galerie Marcus Winter in Berlin, Germany entitled White / Block / Box

His installations, drawings, and photography have been shown and collected by such institutions as The Museum of Modern Art New York and the Musem Ludwig Cologne. In Italy he has participated in the Venice Biennale and The Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto. He lives and works in New York and Italy.
