This group exhibition, curated by Andreas Huber gallery, is exploring different forms of fiction, narration and structure, and the opportunity to develop socially relevant positions within contemporary art practices. The artists pursue issues of hegemonic truth systems (science, "official" historiography) and investigate their social perception. Narrative reconstruction exposes the creation of known history by involving fictitious elements, though far from diligently, as linear, but rather with a selectively-elitist construct, in which memories and inventions alike have to be re-examined.
Opening on Friday, 22 Feb 2008, 7-10 pm
