Pop Idle. Design. The exhibition sees new work produced for the gallery including large sculptural pieces as well as prints and original pieces. The work featured will offer visitors a chance to worship and share private prayers with the idle Idols. Redemption, salvation and salivation are all promised.
Jon launches new work, including large sculptural pieces, at Concrete Hermit Gallery. Following recent exhibitions for Singapore Design Week 07, ROJO Artspace Barcelona and Milan Jon returns to the UK with the solo show ‘Pop Idle’ at the Concrete Hermit Gallery, London from 4th April.
Jon Burgerman is well known for his unique and colourful artwork – both commercial and personal projects have seen Jon’s ‘doodles’ on everything from scraps of paper to ice-cream vans. The exhibition will see new work produced for the gallery including large sculptural pieces as well as prints and original pieces. The work featured will offer visitors a chance to worship and share private prayers with the idle Idols. Redemption, salvation and salivation are all promised.
The show will also see the UK launch of his new 160 page monograph book entitled Gribba Grub published by Rojo.
