La SACI Gallery è lieta di presentare la mostra della Facoltà d’arte dell’Università del Western Michigan con sede a Kalamazoo, MI, USA. Questa selezione di opere di 15 artisti dedica alla varietà di opera d’arte di numerose tecniche create dagli Insegnanti nei Laboratori dell’Università situata nella zona Midwest degli Stati Uniti.
La SACI ha invitato gli insegnanti della Frostic School of Art ad esibire le loro opere dal 2 al 21 giugno presso di sè, a Firenze.Caroline Gore, membro del corpo docente della Frostic School ha promosso la realizzazione della mostra grazie all'amministrazione della SACI e si è assicurata un finanziamento speciale per il progetto grazie alla Haenike Institute for global Education at WMU e alla Gwen Frostic School of art.
Questa mostra sarà il completamento del dialogo iniziato lo scorso anno accademico tra i 2 programmi, quando la WMU (una delle 8 università americane) ospitò la mostra itinerante degli insegnanti SACI presso la WMU. SACI è molto orgogliosa di ospitare questa mostra, curata dal direttore RCVA Don Desmett.
Gli artisti che partecipano alla mostra sono: Karen Bondarchuk, Bill Charland, Cat Crotchett, Bill Davis, Caroline Gore, Ed Harkness, Tricia Hennessy, Dick Keaveny, Al LaVergne, Adriane Little, Nichole Maury, Ginger Owen, Richard de Peaux, Paul Solomon, and Vince Torano.
La Frostic School of Art esporrà le opere più recenti realizzate durante l'ultimo periodo di studio e ricerca. Questa mostra renderà visibile agli studenti, agli insegnanti e alla cominità fiorentina il talento di coloro i quali sono responsabili dell'educazione e del sostegno di oltre 450 studenti della Gwen Frostic School of Art negli Stati Uniti.

The Frostic School of Art Faculty has been invited to exhibit work from June 2-21 in Florence, Italy at SACI (Studio Art Centers International). FrosticSchool of Art faculty member Caroline Gore initiated the exhibition opportunity with the administration at SACI, and secured special funding from the Haenicke Institute for Global Education at WMU, and the Gwen Frostic School of Art for the project. This exhibition will complete the conversation that was started between the two programs last academic year when WMU (one of eight US Universities) hosted the SACI Faculty Traveling exhibition at WMU. SACI is looking forward to hosting the exhibition, which has been curated by RCVA Director Don Desmett.
Artists included in the exhibition are: Karen Bondarchuk, Bill Charland, Cat Crotchett, Bill Davis, Caroline Gore, Ed Harkness, Tricia Hennessy, Dick Keaveny, Al LaVergne, Adriane Little, Nichole Maury, Ginger Owen, Richard de Peaux, Paul Solomon, and Vince Torano.
The Frostic School of Art Faculty will showcase newest works produced from recent research and studio time. This exhibition helps students, faculty, and the Florentine community see the talent of those responsible for the education and support of over 450 students in the Gwen Frostic School of Art in the United States.
