Through his captivating images of the eye, Latin American artist Rodolfo Abularach's work shows a surrealistic and mythical representationof the illusive secrets of the human soul. James Mathison is interested in a dialogue with certain artistic traditions such as those by Michelangelo, Rodin, Degas, Giacometti and Zitman. These traditions go back to external proposals on humanity: to be before man, before matter, transformed into an idea of mankind.
