Alla Galleria Marconi di Cupra Marittima proseguono gli appuntamenti della rassegna Gallerista sull’orlo di una crisi di nervi. Dopo la collettiva Dittici. Narrazioni fotografiche, che ha presentato i lavori di Marco Scozzaro, Fabio Mantovani e Kei Nagayoshi, domenica 18 Gennaio alle 18.00 si inaugura una collettiva che presenta i lavori di 4 artisti marchigiani: Roberto Cicchinè e Daniele Duranti, che saranno presentati da Stefania Palanca, e Nardi e Scopetta e Rita Soccio, che saranno presentati da Dario Ciferri.

La mostra rappresenta la prima tappa di un ciclo di tre mostre dedicate ai fermenti dell’arte marchigiana intitolato: Marche Centro d’Arte. Lo scopo di questa rassegna è mostrare la vivacità delle produzioni artistiche che ci sono nella regione, una regione in cui da sempre convivono pluralità e singolarità, a partire dallo stesso nome, Ogni artista ha una sua peculiarità che rende interessante il suo percorso di ricerca, una voce che unendosi alle altre che emergono dal territorio, da vita a un mosaico ricco vivo e vivace.

“Non è un percorso rettilineo quello che porta Roberto Cicchinè alla realizzazione del lavoro finito. Non c’è in lui la volontà di rendere, attraverso l’obiettivo fotografico, l’oggettività: essa è filtrata dalla sensibilità dell’artista che restituisce uno sguardo sulle cose e un taglio che sfuggono alla normale osservazione. Le storie che racconta sono provinciali, come provinciale – nell’accezione positiva di osservare con occhio curioso e sempre nuovo - è il suo modo di porsi di fronte ai propri soggetti. I protagonisti degli scatti non emergono per ciò che realmente e fisicamente sono, ma per il dettaglio che l’artista di loro vuole sottolineare.

Fissare un passaggio, fermare un momento, rendere tangibile l’irreale. Sono i frames cinematografici a rivivere nelle storie raccontate da Daniele Duranti, che porta sulla tela scene metropolitane. La sua volontà è quella di rendere realistico un mondo che prende corpo esclusivamente grazie all’artista che ne ferma un suo momento. Paesaggi urbani elaborati attraverso una moderna macchina da presa: l’occhio e la mano dell’artista, che colgono i frames, ci dispiegano quella che crediamo essere la realtà ma che poi si svela finzione, un’apparenza ingannevole, un poggiare su false certezze”. “Un intervento nello spazio che arriva a illudere le nostre sensazioni, Nardi e Scopetta prendono oggetti della quotidianità e ne estrapolano nuovi significati. Una pulizia di immagine che si esprime attraverso la struttura, una struttura dove le grandi dimensioni si accostano ai dettagli minuziosi, per dare forma a un gioco, che anche un soffio riesce ogni volta a rendere nuovo. Un gioco che risulta estremamente serio e in cui l’uomo entra pur essendone escluso, in una ricerca del paradosso che sembra quasi appesa a un filo.

Il brand pubblicitario, uno dei simboli chiave della società del benessere, esce dai suoi schemi e cerca di godere delle gioie di una vita reale. Lindo (Mastrolindo) e Stella (la signora del dado Star) fuggono dagli scaffali del supermercato e si innamorano al punto di decidere di mettere su una famiglia. Rita Soccio ci racconta la loro storia e la loro ricerca del sogno dell’uomo medio: una casettina romantica e, perché no, un pizzico di trasgressione. Con un po' di ironia si riflette sull’influsso della pubblicità nella nostra vita, invertendo le parti”. (Dario Ciferri)


Gallerista sull’orlo di una crisi di nervi
Arriva il momento nella vita di un gallerista in cui decide di affidare una mostra al collaboratore più fidato, quello con cui condivide idee e aspettative, quello che al bisogno è in grado di sostituirlo anche nella corrispondenza (senza che tra l’altro nessuno se ne accorga). Tutto sembrerebbe perfetto, ma il cielo non sempre è azzurro come si potrebbe pensare e le nuvole sono sempre pronte a fare la loro comparsa.

Allo stress di una mostra, collaboratori di vario tipo aggiungono stress, ritardi, piccole/grandi inefficienze che un povero gallerista si trova a dover affrontare, perdendo i capelli e/o facendosi venire i capelli bianchi. Eccolo buttarsi su massicce dosi di tachipirina per affrontare l’immancabile febbre pre-mostra, mettersi ai fornelli per preparare pasti con innumerevoli portate e quantità capaci di sfamare interi reggimenti, eccolo infine perdere l’attimo atteso ogni giorno come la manna dal cielo: il riposino pomeridiano. Una vita dura fatta dalle piccole insoddisfazioni di ogni giorno e dalle grandi soddisfazioni di ogni mese.

Gallerista sull’orlo di una crisi di nervi è l’omaggio a quella cosa bellissima ed entusiasmante che è l’organizzazione di una mostra, cosa bellissima, ma anche snervante e stancante. Ecco che aumenta il numero delle sigarette fumate fuori dalla porta, ecco che i chiodi e le viti si accumulano sul pavimento. Poi si inaugura, si parla, si ride e il giorno dopo si pulisce. Questa è la “tragica” routine che accompagna la vita di un gallerista. Ma non bisogna dimenticare però la bellezza di una mostra, il piacere di una chiacchierata con gli amici, l’emozionarsi sempre nuovo che ripaga da ogni affanno. I rapporti umani, e non solo professionali, con artisti, critici e curatori, sono il vero collante dell’attività e il motore che rende sempre nuova la voglia di andare avanti.
Solo un grazie a chi ci permette di poter seguire ed apprezzare il mondo dell’arte nel suo continuo movimento.

The appointments of the program “Manager of an art gallery on the edge of a fit of nerves” are going on at Marconi Gallery of Cupra Marittima. After the group exhibition “Diptiches” , Photo narrations, which has presented the works of Fabio Mantovani,Kei Nagayoshi and Marco Scozzaro, on Sunday 18th January there will be the opening of a group exposition, which presents the works of four artists from the Marche region: Roberto Cicchiné and Daniele Duranti, presented by Stefania Palanca and Nardi and Scopetta and Rita Soccio, presented by Dario Ciferri.

The exhibition represents the first step of a cycle of three expositions dedicated to the art from Marche with the title “ Marche Centre of the Art”. The aim of this cycle is to show the lively art productions that are in the region, a region where plurality and singularity have always met, starting from the name itself. Each artist has his own peculiarity that makes his research as a kind of voice which, together with the others coming from the same territory, realizes a rich and lively mosaic.


“It isn’t a straight path the one which brings Roberto Cicchiné to the realization of the finished work. He isn’t willing to give the objectivity through the photographic lens: it is sifted by the artist sensibility, which gives a glance on things and a tone that are missed by the normal observation. The stories he tells are provincial, as provincial is, in the positive sense of observing with a curious and always new eye, the way he put himself in front of his own subjects. The objects of the snaps don’t appear as they really and physically are, but for the detail the artist wants to emphasize about them.

Fixing a passage, catching a moment, making tangible what’s unreal. The cinematographic frames revive in the stories told by Daniele Duranti who puts metropolitan scenes on the canvas. His will is making realistic a world that is realized only thanks to the artist who fixes one of its moments. Urban landscapes elaborated through a modern movie camera: the artist eye and hand which take the frames, they explain to us what we believe is reality but then it comes out being a pretence, a deceptive appearance, just relying on false certainties”. “An intervention in the space which can deceive our sensations, Nardi and Scopetta take objects of our everyday life and give them new meanings. A clean image that expresses itself through its structure, a structure where the big dimensions are put next to the smallest details, in order to realize a game, which is always made new even by only an hair’s breadth. A game that is extremely serious and where man can go in even if left out, in a research of the paradox that seems nearly hung by a thread.

The advertising brand, one of the key symbols of the affluent society, comes out of its schemes and tries to enjoy the delights of a real life. Lindo (Mastrolindo) and Stella (the lady of star cube) escape from the supermarket shelves and fall in love so much they decide to get married. Rita Soccio tells us their story and their following the dream of a standard human being: a romantic little house and, why not, a bit of unconventionality. With some irony it is possible to think over the ads influence on our life, just exchanging the sides”.(Dario Ciferri)

One moment comes in the life of a gallery manager when he decides to entrust the most trustworthy collaborator with an exposition, the one he shares ideas and expectations with, the one who is able to take his place if necessary, even with his mails (and without anyone realizing it). All seems perfect, but the sky is never blue as you could imagine and clouds are always ready to appear.
Various collaborators add stress, lags, small/big inefficiencies which the poor art gallery manager must face, losing his hair or better getting it white old. Here he is taking large amounts of medicines to face the certain high temperature before an exposition, here he is in front of the cooker in order to prepare big amounts of meals, able to feed whole armies. Here he is, in the end, losing the daily awaited moment, as it was the manna from heaven: his afternoon snap. A hard life made of the daily small dissatisfactions and of the monthly big satisfactions.

Manager of an art gallery on the edge of a fit of nerves is a tribute to the very beautiful and fantastic organization of an exhibition, something very beautiful but nevertheless exhausting and tiring. Here he is increasing the number of cigarettes smoked outside the door, while nails and screws are piling up on the floor. Then the opening with all the talking, laughing and at the end the cleaning of the day after. This is the “tragic” routine in the life of a poor art gallery manager. But you shouldn’t neglect the beauty of an exposition, the pleasure of chatting with friends, the always new emotions, that repay for any worries. The human , and not only professional, relationships with the artists, critics and curators, are the real linkage of the activity and the engine that makes the will to go on always new.
We only want to thank the ones who allow us to be able to follow and appreciate the art universe in its continuous movement.
