La mostra presenta una parte significativa delle due collezioni di vasi, candelieri, sculture e lampade che Jaime Hayon ha disegnato tra il 2003 e il 2008 per l'azienda trevigiana Bosa Ceramiche.

Jaime Hayon, artista e designer spagnolo nato a Madrid nel 1974, dopo essersi formato in Spagna e a Parigi, appoda a Fabrica, l'accademia di design e comunicazione voluto da Benetton, in qualità di studente, e collabora con Oliviero Toscani.
Un anno dopo è già in testa al dipartimento di design.

Nel 2004 intraprende la sua carriera con collezioni di giocattoli, ceramiche e mobili, seguite da allestimenti di design e artistici. La sua ricerca stilistica oltrepassa i confini che spesso separano il mondo del design e dell'arte, creando un suo stile personale che si posiziona tra queste due espressioni artistiche.

La sua sorprendente collezione di arredi per bagno creata nel 2005 sconvolge l'industria del settore e lo pone in una posizione di punta delle nuove tendenze del design. Le mostre si susseguono ininterrottamente: dapprima a Londra presso la Galleria di David Gill dove il suo allestimento ''Mediterranean Digital Baroque'', principalmente composto di ceramiche, ottiene un successo strepitoso. Segue la mostra ''Mon cirque'' che lo porta a Barcellona, Lisbona, Parigi, Colonia e in India. E poi ancora personali al Museo del Design di Londra, al Museo Vitra, al Museo di Groningen, al Salone del mobile di Milano, alla Fiera d'arte di Basilea, alla Vivid Gallery di Rotterdam, attirando l'attenzione di numerosi e importanti collezionisti.

Allo stesso tempo consolida la sua collaborazione con Bosa Ceramiche di Treviso con due ampie collezioni.

Tra i suoi svariati clienti Hayon conta inoltre: ArtQuitect, b.d. ediciones, Moooi, Established & Sons, Metalarte, Swarovski, Berhardt Design, Piper Heidsieck, Gaia and Gino, Lladró, Camper, Bisazza e recentemente Baccarat.

Le opere di Jaime Hayon sono comparse nelle pubblicazioni d'arte e di design più prestigiose di tutto il mondo.
Ha inoltre ricevuto numerosi riconoscimenti tra i quali il premio per la ''Miglior installazione'' (Icon Magazine), ‘Breakthrough Creator’ (Wallpaper Magazine) e nel 2006 l'Elle Deco International Award.

Nel 2008 è stato l'ospite d'onore della biennale belga ''Interieur''.

The exhibition presents a large part of the two collections of vases, candleholders, sculptures and lamps tha Jaime Hayon has designed between 2003 and 2008 for the italian ceramic producer ''Bosa Ceramiche''.

Spanish artist/designer, Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.

After studying industrial design in Madrid and Paris he joined Fabrica in 1997, the Benetton funded design and communication academy, working closely with the legendary image-maker Oliverio Toscani. A year later he was promoted from student to head of their Design Department, where he oversaw the development of interiors for shops, exhibitions and restaurants as well as books, magazines and logo designs.

In 2004 he began his individual career first, with toys, ceramics and furniture followed by interior design and installation as well as artistic installations. His boldness has always been transcending the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, merging his own style with ease between the two.

Hayon bathroom collection AQHayon, for Arquitect, launched in 2005, caused a tremor in the bathroom industry and design community and placed him on the forefront of the design tendencies.

Being a multifaceted creator, Hayon’s work has developed in diverse areas: from curatorial roles to those of an artist to that of a designer.
As an artist, his exclusive furniture design work was first brought to life at London’s David Gill Gallery, where his “Mediterranean Digital Baroque” exhibit has enormous success, an exciting “mise en scène”, largely executed in ceramic, followed by “Mon cirque”, his storytelling installation that has been presented in Barcelona, Minneapolis, Lisbon, Paris and Cologne.
Hayon further defined his vision in subsequent solo exhibitions and shows at London’s Aram Gallery, and Milan’s Salone de Mobile and his work has been displayed in the Vitra Museum, in the Design Museum in London, in the Vivid Gallery of Rotterdam, in the Gronginger Museum and the Basel Art Fair and has attracted the attention of prestigious art collectors.

Hayon has worked for many clients as diverse as ArtQuitect, b.d. ediciones, Moooi, Established & Sons, Metalarte, Swarovski, Berhardt Design, Piper Heidsieck, Gaia and Gino, Bosa Ceramiche, Lladró, Camper, Bisazza and more recently for Baccarat.

Hayon currently resides in London, with offices in Barcelona and Treviso (Italy). His work has appeared in the most prestigious art and design publications worldwide. He has won numerous awards including ‘Best Installation’ (Icon Magazine), ‘Breakthrough Creator’ (Wallpaper Magazine) and the 2006 Elle Deco International Award.

In 2008, he was guest of honor at Belgium’s “Interieur” Biennal.
