School of the Arts Visual Art Program presents
Second-year M.F.A. Visual Arts students present their works at the Fisher Landau Center from May 3 through the 23rd.
This exhibition is curated by Regine Basha.
The artists in the show are: Cara Siik Benedetto, Christian de Vietri, David Brooks, Davida Nemeroff, Dennis Santella, Douglas Boatwright, Einat Amir, Eric Palgon, Eric Ramos Guerrero, Erik Vysocan, Gabriel Martinez, Gilad Ratman, Ian Cheng, Jaqueline Cedar, Mary Simpson, Michael Berryhill, Mira Dancy, Natalie Beall, Paul Heyer, Per Billgren, Peter Mandradjieff, Rona Yefman, Samara Golden, Valerie Piraino, Virginia Poundstone, and Zoe Nelson.
Regine Basha is an independent curator who has worked with emerging artists across the country and internationally, engaging both institutions and public spaces with new work and ideas for the past 16 years.
"If I had to title this show, I'd call it SPACE, POWER, LIGHT, given all the meanings those words connote," Basha said. "It's a really engaged and striking group of artists this year."
