The autumn season at the Louisiana starts off with a major international contemporary art exhibition presenting works by more than 20 internationally acknowledged artists from all over the world, many of whom will be brand new acquaintances for the Danish public. The exhibition shows contemporary art with a strong "social awareness gene" that has our shared humanity as its premise and quite specifically involves our bodies, gazes, ideas and readings of the works. The works are ours, and we are invited to think along with them or, in the case of many of the works in the exhibition, quite literally to take part in them.
