ARTISTS AND ... ASSISTANTS / HELPERS / PARTNERS / APPRENTICES / STUDENTS
At previous symposia participants have asked if they can have others assist them with the making of their work.

Our response is that others, with the agreement of the Trust, may assist. However we expect all people working on site to be fully registered giving all equal access to equipment, food and events which the Trust has organised.

An assistant may not create a work of their own. In the case of partners or a team who are working collaboratively, all names will be credited.

COMMISSION
The Trust expects payment of commission for a period of two years until the start of the next Tareitanga symposium.

Income from commissions is required to maintain financial viability of Tareitanga. The Trust receives numerous enquiries about artists and sculpture in response to which we provide appropriate information. Whenever appropriate the Trust will continue to act on behalf of registered artists during this two year period.

TAREITANGA ON THE NET
The Trust has an internet web site which covers various aspects of
Tareitanga; artists, sponsors, progress reports etc.

We are offering artists the opportunity to have their own page which will have images of their work and background information about them.

Should a sale occur as a result of information on this page, the Trust will expect a commission payment of 20 % of the sale price.

If you would like a home page on the Tareitanga web site you will need to send me up to five photographs. One of these should be a photo of you,.. with your work... by yourself... your choice. Also, we will need two paragraphs from you, again... artist statement...philosophical statement...background information etc....

This will be in addition to the information you have already provided unless you are happy to have your 'sandwich board' material on your home page as well. Please let us know.

The Tareitanga site is active and waiting for information. As we receive your material we will add it to the web site. Once the symposium begins your progress will be recorded and placed on the web site.
