Screening of Vincent and Theo by Robert Altman
Free Teen Nights is now Art Underground-same great screenings and art events almost every Friday night, but now young adults ages 14 to 19 are welcome. Vincent and Theo. 1990. Directed by Robert Altman. Artist Vincent Van Gogh shared a close but sometimes contentious relationship with his art dealer brother, Theo. This fictional film traces the course of their struggles over Van Gogh's career and his decent into mental instability. This spring's Free Teen Nights series, The Artist's Life, will explore how artists live and work, and what inspires them. Film nights will focus on documentary and fictional narratives of artists' lives, while art nights will range from studio workshops to discussions with artists and filmmakers.
