Call For Submissions. Perspective 2001 is the renowned Annual Open Competition/Exhibition organised by Ormeau Baths Gallery, Northern Irelands leading contemporary visual arts gallery. Perspective 2001 is open to artists working in any medium within contemporary fine art practice. Closing Date For Submissions Friday 6th July

Conditions of Entry:
Perspective 2001 is open to artists working in any medium within contemporary
fine art practice.
The exhibition will be shown at Ormeau Baths Gallery from September 7th - 13th
October 2001. Work will be selected from 6 x 35mm slides of new work or work in
progress, which has not been previously exhibited. Slides must be of
reproduction quality. Video applications should not be longer than 10 minutes
duration. Where artists are interested in site-specific, public or performance
art please include written and graphic documentation of work proposed. All
applications should include an artist's statement, slide list and current C.V.
Handling Fee:
Each artist will pay a single handling fee of £15.00 sterling, payable when
sending your application.
The decision of the selectors is final and no correspondence will be entered
into. The Selectors will award the prize of £6,000 at the exhibition preview.
