Slingshot hip hop / Artel+Blockade

"Slingshot hip hop" braids together the stories of young Palestinians living in the West Bank, Gaza and inside Israel as they discover Hip Hop and employ it as a tool to surmount divisions imposed by occupation and poverty. "Artel" is about one day in the life of a small fishing cooperative on the White Sea during winter; four men fight a daily struggle with a harsh natural environment. In "Blockade", found footage about the siege of Leningrad from the Moscow archive become visual poetry in this multiple awards winner documentary.
