Gaswork invites to the Open Studio weekend, with a preview night on Thursday 24 June and special events on the afternoon of Saturday 26 June. The Open Studio weekend is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the working processes of artists participating in Gasworks International Residency Programme. David Bestue', Mateo Lopez and Gunes Terkol have spent three months at Gasworks, working alongside London based artists. Whilst David Bestue and Gunes Terkol open their studios to the public to show and discuss work in progress, Mateo Lopez introduces Made to Measure, his solo exhibition at Gasworks and the culmination of his residency. Thursday 24 June, 6.30-9PM, Open Studio Preview with an informal discussion over drinks and nibbles. Saturday 26, 3pm, Mateo Lopez introduces his exhibition at Gasworks and discuss the development of his work in London. 4.30pm, Gugu, a performance by Gunes Terkol's expiremental group Guru, incorporating and reworking sounds and voices collected in London.
