Shake Night is the final stage of the collaboration of seven cultural institutions, the so called "Art Centres of Europe", where parallel exhibitions within the frame of Re :Location Shake are held. One of the highlights of this collaboration is a common, simultaneous event, the Shake Night. It is an attempt to link the public of these art centres located throughout Europe into a joint celebration with presentations, discussions and artists' performances. Thanks to the collaboration with television channels in the different countries there will be a TV transmission of the events taking place at the art centres, thus connecting their audiences.
The Shake Night is held under the patronage of Mrs. Viviane Reding, the European Commissioner for Culture and Education.
