NEW ART Barcelona 2000 is a forum of contemporary art galleries where artists, gallery owners, collectors, critics and the public at large can come to share their concerns, buy, sell and reflect upon Contemporary Art.

concerns, buy, sell and reflect upon Contemporary Art.
NEW ART Barcelona 2000 is a motivation for galleries to present the youngest
artists and their most innovative works, to aware the public of the art for the century
XXI.
NEW ART offers national and foreign gallery owners alike the opportunity to
emerge from their own exhibition spaces where typical scheduling constraints limit
the possibility of exhibiting the work of new generations.
NEW ART Barcelona 2000, it reaffirms itself as an annual encounter, after de
great success obtained in participation and public in last year's edition, which would
encourage future collectors and the public in general to keep abreast of new trends
in contemporary art.
NEW ART Barcelona 2000 will be held at the Hotel Barceló-Sants from 23 to 26 of
November. We will be using one floor of the hotel, with 52 rooms, in which each
gallery would be given a room which could be adapted to its needs.
NEW ART Barcelona 2000 is promoted by the Associació Art Barcelona, which
is constituted by the following galleries: Aspectos, GalerÃa Alejandro Sales, GalerÃa
Antonio de Barnola, GalerÃa Berini, GalerÃa Carles Taché, Galeria dels Àngels,
GalerÃa Eude, Galeria Ferran Cano, GalerÃa Joan Gaspar, GalerÃa Joan Prats,
GalerÃa Joan Prats-Artgrà fic, GalerÃa Maeght, Galeria Maria José CastellvÃ, GalerÃa
René Metras, Galeria Metropolitana de Barcelona, GalerÃa Senda, Galeria Senda
Espai 292, GalerÃa Trama and Kowasa Gallery.
NEW ART Barcelona 2000 is another challenge and a creative success of the
Associació Art Barcelona, which since its inception in 1990 has organised
exhibits such as "KUNST BARCELONA", with the works of German artists, "Art
Barcelona 1992", an exhibit of the most prestigious Spanish artists organised for
the Olympic Games, and "Tribute to Joan Miró", held during the centennial
celebrations devoted to the artist.
