A Cultural Blueprint for New York City is an independent,
non-partisan, citywide, multi-sector initiative of cultural and
civic leaders concerned about supporting and sustaining the vital
cultural life of New York City in the 21st Century. A Cultural
Blueprint's principal goal is to impart a renewed appreciation for
the full impact and role the arts and cultural sector plays in the
life of New York City to elected officials, the public, and the
media. The Blueprint will gather data, such as public surveys,
case studies, and interviews. The Town Hall meetings conducted in
each borough will be an integral part of this process.
