ART MOSCOW is one of the most effective market institutions of contemporary art in Russia. Annually it gathers
national and international experts and connoisseurs of actual art at the Central House of Artists. ART MOSCOW is a
unique ground for exposing and purchasing the works of contemporary art classics and the works of the most

presenting their best specimens to the public.

Sixth station. Maxim Svischev
First floor CHA
Organizer - BAIBAKOV art project, CHA
Created by high technologies, used by Maxim Svischev, the immense projection, presented at the Fair, with the length
of 35 meters is aimed to ask the eternal question: what is the destination of the constant mankind progress? The name
of this installation is borrowed from “Demons” by Dostoevsky. Imagination of the artist prompts mystical “Sixth Station”;
here one sees a lonely barefoot girl in a plain light-blue dress that looks like hospital attire. She shows no signs of
impatient, on the contrary, she is fully confident that her train will surely arrive at the appointed time. “Arriving” train
transforms exhibition ground into metaphysical arrival hall, and spectators, involuntary waiting for this arrival with the
lonely girl, are ready to hit the unknown road. Only white-tiled walls are left after departure – a reminder that miracles
most often happen in commonness.
“Paper” project of photographer Vadim Gouschin
Hall 5, 2nd floor, CHA
Organizer – Photogallery named by Lumier Brothers (Moscow, Russia)
Main series of the project: “Envelopes”, “Library” and “Manuscripts”.
Paper as one of the fundamental materials, having greatly influenced human progress and history of the world, attracts
the author. This project is an attempt to visually generalize the variety of existing forms of paper.
Beside its fundamental qualities paper is a unique substance in respect to fort and texture. Thus, in addition to visual
generalization, this project is intended to aestheticise different objects, not necessarily aesthetic by nature, and also it
is a kind of aesthetic opinion about our objective reality.
Pond life
