15 weekly lectures. Jacques Ranciere inaugurates the series

In 15 weekly lectures between September 2009 and January 2010, scholars, artists and politicians from Germany and abroad will discuss select aspects of German culture, society and history, taking a work in the exhibition Thomas Demand as their point of departure. Jacques Ranciere (Philosopher b. in Algiers 1940, lives in Paris) inaugurates the lecture series 'How German is it?' with his talk "Seeing, showing, demonstrating". The lecture will be held in English; full program on the web site.
