Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2002 is an exciting opportunity to see the cream of Britain’s art students’ and recent graduates’ work. Selected by artists Sarah Lucas, Graham Gussin and filmmaker Patrick Keiller the work is diverse, fresh and stimulating. You can see erotic watercolours, spirograph drawings and paintings of a strangely silent Swiss landscape.
New Contemporaries started in 1949 and has a remarkable history of providing valuable support for artists at the start of their professional career. Original and captivating, Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2002 is a great opportunity to see the Turner Prize winners of tomorrow.
Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2002 is sponsored by Bloomberg and receives additional funding from Arts Council of England and A Foundation, Liverpool.
