Canadian-born artist Vincent Twardzik Ching presents an unusual exhibition of abstract, organic paintings. Through the qualities of paint itself, Vincent's work addresses the very human processes of growth and change. The optical intensity of the works and their unorthodox installation in the gallery will challenge viewers' perception and invite questions about the nature of life, art and community.

Vincent aims to affect the viewer on a physical and irrational level, where an environment of surreal images and objects can have a consciousness-altering impact, resulting in a hyper-awareness of the senses and a re-valuing of x{201C}humanx{201D} ways of knowing.
Currently a full-time artist and permanent resident of Singapore, Vincent has exhibited in Canada and Singapore at Plum Blossoms Gallery and Sculpture Square. A recipient of the Phillip Morris Asean Art Awards in Singapore 2001-02, his work is included in private collections in Canada, Taiwan and Singapore, and he was recently included in the AGA New Finds Exhibition 2003.
