Stories for Empty Shop Windows
Ingrid Book and Carina Hedén work on the interface between architecture,
landscape and social balance. In their projects they support and make the powers of self
organisation and the productive re-evaluation of regional resources to be a point of discussion.
The artists live in Oslo and have been working together since 1987.
A clear commitment to the work in dialogue determines their access to
artistic projects. Curiosity, patience and empathy associates their interest in ecology and
alternative life forms whereby thereis a special focus in their research on the region as a mirror of global
relationships. There arediverse artistic forms of expressions using photography, video or
installations and these are prepared according to each respective project definition.
