Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia
Retrospective
Retrospective. Juan Munoz is one of the fundamental figures in the resurgence of international contemporary sculpture. His work breaks down the strict divisions between sculpture and other more or less similar artistic media, such as installation art. The result is a richer kind of sculpture, in the narrative sense, from which spring feelings of individual introspection and isolation. The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia will host the most important retrospective dedicated to this Spanish artist at the international level, which has been organised by the Tate Modern of London. Visitors to the exhibit will be able to view various works that have never before been displayed to the public: sculptures, installations, drawings, radio pieces, writings, etc.
